Meet our founder
Jaen van der Walt
Jaen has always loved soccer, but his own school didn't offer it. He never had the chance to play at the age when most players first fall in love with the game.
That experience is the reason Soccer Strikers exists. Jaen started the programme to bring soccer to children where they already are, at school, from as young as three. His goal is to introduce as many children as possible to the game, and to help even one of them go on to a professional career.
He is deeply committed to youth development and to building a better South Africa. He is here to stay, and he believes lasting change starts with our children.
"South Africa has so much potential. When we give our kids the opportunity, there's no limit to what they can achieve."Jaen van der Walt, Founder
